The wife and I just moved to a side street in Greenpoint.  I highly recommend living on a side street if you live in a city.  I am amazed at how different it is just one and a half blocks away.

Also, it’s nice to find out that moving to a new place with someone for the second time is much different than the first.  It’s a whole lot less about dividing up the space and a whole lot more about figuring out what works for both of you.  

I’ve also decided that I need to make an effort to be less of a cynic in life and work.  Here’s to that.
